An Afternoon in Central Park

I can’t think of a more enjoyable way to spend a beautiful fall afternoon in New York City than wandering through Central Park – watching people, photographing autumn leaves and collecting the information to log some geocaches.

We exited the park along Museum Mile, where the cost of leasing a spot for a hotdog stand runs upwards of $250,000/yr!

Between our morning meander and our afternoon amble, we logged two earthcaches and one virtual cache, taken more than 500 photographs between the two of us, and walked about 23 km (14 miles). All-in-all, a great first day in New York City!
