I’m still plugging away at completing our “Days of the Year” grid for geocaching. Here are some of the more interesting sights I encountered while walking about over the past week…
This was one of the unique waypoints for a short, pirate-themed multi-cache.
And this was the treasure chest at the end of the pirate-themed multi-cache. NOTE: there is additional camo that protects the chest from the elements.
To access the logbook in this ammo can cache requires sorting through about 150 keys to find just the right one to open the padlock.
The weak winter sun was barely visible through the cloud cover early in the afternoon, creating interesting backlighting for the bare branches of five deciduous trees.
Four geocaching walkabouts = total walking distance of 20 km (12.5 miles)
